Alaska Cruise Refund Longevity ??

We haven't decided rather to take the FCC or a full refund. My understanding is the refund money (minus port fees, etc.) is sitting in our account.

How long do we have to allow the refund to sit there before we must use it or ask for it to be returned to us ?? I'm thinking 18 months from original cruise date.

Sorry I meant to type 15 months. So ask for money back or book a cruise with 125% credit within 15 months.
