I like the title and graphic. I already have a pirate themed FE from our Panama Canal cruise. I just realized we will be celebrating our 11th anniversary (a little late, its Aug. 5) on this cruise. We celebrated #8 on the Magic (EB Panama Canal cruise), #9 at WDW, #10 will hopefully be at AKV (club level) and #11 on the Wonder to Alaska. Let me know how I can help out. It was so nice to have an active thread on the Panama Canal cruise. I felt like I knew everyone before we sailed. We did the cabin tours and PJ breakfast too. I overslept for the breakfast, but the tour was fun. We even had a group that did a scrapbook swap. If that is something anyone is interested in I would be happy to help with that. My DH says I should be in Disney heaven with 3 trips to plan for the next 2 years.

Hi, Terri. Thanks for the welcome. I thought that I was bad with 2 cruises planned for the next 2 years. Although, I might sneak another one in there, especially with the Wonder coming to the West Coast.

I think that it's great that this cruise is a bit of a ways out, because that will give us all a chance to become acquainted, and give us time to plan some awesome thing to do on the cruise.

I like the scrapbook idea, although I am not very creative when it comes to that kind of thing. But I am very good at executed any ideas that you all may have.

I like the name for the thread. How about "The Last Alaskan Cruisaders"? Just a thought.

It's the best way to celebrate anniversaries! We started with our 25th (September 2007) when we sailed on the Magic for the 1st time and renewed our vows. It was so fantastic and an experience we'll never forget... Last year we went to DL and did the last Mexican Riviera cruise and this year we were back on the Magic once more for the Eastern Caribbean/Tortola... Upcoming, we'll have #28 on the late August 2010 11 night Med cruise and #29 will be on this one with you guys...

An active thread is definitely the way to go - we had a great one on our last cruise and it really made the trip!!! So you can count on me to chip in... The scrapbook swap sounds lovely - sadly, I'm just not crafty tho' I can do computery design stuff...

It's a DIS thing!!! TBH I feel twitchy if I don't have a bunch of Disney trips to plan!!! I'm currently nurturing 4 - Med; WDW for Christmas/New Year 2010; LA to Vancouver Repo; Alaska...

I might sneak another one in there, especially with the Wonder coming to the West Coast...

Ohhh I love scrapbooking, although I have been neglecting it recently.

How did you do a swap, was it exchanging papers & stickers etc or actual pages?

When do you plan to come to DL? We are just an hour and a half away and go at least once a year. I want to back for my b-day in December while you get in free on your b-day. But I must admit, I have NEVER been to DL during the Christmas holidays. I want to go just once because I hear that it is breath-taking.

Nope, but we at WDW the day after the wedding. So, my wedding night was spent on a flight out to Florida.

Boy, we got a few perks, too. Even on the plan I wore my Mickey Wedding Ears and the stewardess gave us free ear phones. But that was just the beginning.

When do you plan to come to DL? We are just an hour and a half away and go at least once a year. I want to back for my b-day in December while you get in free on your b-day. But I must admit, I have NEVER been to DL during the Christmas holidays. I want to go just once because I hear that it is breath-taking.

It will probably be around October time next year. We plan to fly to San Francisco, stay a few nights then drive down the coastal route to La & then stop at DL for probably 4 nights, onto San Diego for a few more nights then ditch the car & fly to Vegas for the last few nights then fly out of there back to London.

The itinerary may change though as I haven't booked anything yet. We have spent time in LA, San Diego & Vegas before but never San Fran or DL so any advice/must do's or hotel recommendations would be fab.

Nice one, Claire - I can't wait to set sail with you and Lee!!! And thank goodness you started the Meet & Greet thread for our cruise - I was getting worried I might have to take on the responsibility myself...

DH (Richard) and I (Karen) booked this cruise last week. We'd made a couple of dummy bookings whilst on the Magic 2 weeks ago and promptly transferred one to this cruise on September 21st... Richard has always wanted to do an Alaskan cruise so I knew this was a done deal as soon as DCL announced it! So here we are. We opted for the last sailing (or LAST CRUISADE...?!!) as I thought it might be less busy and it certainly seems to be at the moment...

We will miss you by a couple of weeks, sailing on the Aug 9 th Alaska cruise this time. You lucked out by switching from the Aug 15th Tortola cruise as the hurricane forced us to miss Tortola.

OMG hello there, Ed!!! For a moment you got me all excited thinking that we'd be cruising together - oh well, I'm crossing my fingers we will sometime... But this whole DCL/Alaska thing is awesome - my husband is so happy as he's wanted to go there for ages!!! I hope you, Mrs Ed and Caitlin are all healthy and happy - have a fab trip... xxx...

Or some other kinda play on Mouse/Moose... The Moose Boat...

And we'd be the Mooseketeers!!!!
