wish I had an injet printer to print stuff. Bill just has a black and white lazer.
I just did our name and a cruise magnet. It helps my kids find the door. Don't worry about it too much. You have a whole group your organizing. You guys are guilting me into working on my door magnets.![]()

Sometimes I work so hard on the vacations we go on and details I forgot about relaxing and just hanging with my family.
Thanks, but we always do door magnets (just usually not until the last minute). We'll re-use some of ours but need some Alaska themed ones to replace our Castaway ones.![]()
The good thing about Alaska (especially with this heat wave is I know I won't want to wear any of the clothes for at least the next month).
85 degrees and Arctic circle shouldn't be in the same sentence
Totally Agree - and 85 degrees! I wish.
From what I have been reading from posts, it seems it starts to get colder in August---guess it's gonna be a crap shoot![]()
For non-dinner related wear, layering is the ticket. I'll have jeans, tee shirts, a couple of sweatshirts, a fleece jacket and a rain/windbreaker. Plus a hat, gloves and scarf in case they are needed for excursions or being on deck.
So I think I'm going to take a second-carry on for the trip Out West with our clothes for the 3 days pre-cruise & then check the bag on the way back (yay for Southwest & 2 bags fly free!) - we have a small rolling duffel from the WDW World of Disney Store that will be just the ticket!
Lucky for you with the 2 bags! I can't figure out if I have to pay or not (am thinking yes) since we are flying on Air Canada - not cost first bag - but it is a United code flight - costs for both bags. Am gonna play it safe with the cost for two and hope I get lucky - then I have more spending money!
Still waiting on our cruise docs - if we don't get them by the weekend, I'll be checking in w/my TA..
Me Too! can ya tell I am getting antsy and want those docs to come in! Still waiting on our TA..
Ugh~our local carrier just raised their first bag costsbecause the fuel costs went up and they are trying to recoup their losses - this quarter was in the red. I wish they had passed on the FAA savings to us
.
I totally agree about it getting colder in August. It was for our last trip in 2009 but we didn't do tracy arm because it was fogged in so for me that is my biggest concern. Crap Shoot is right - right now I am packing everything and the kitchen sinkgotta rethink this.
