Alaska Airlines is offering kids fly free now

Tell me more...what airports, from what airports?

Never mind, I was able to look at the website. It's Kids free flight when you pay for a package (4 night hotel, 5 day passes), Departure cities are Oakland, Reno, Seattle, Boise, Portland, Spokane, Juneau, Anchorage and Fairbanks. Arrival City is dependant upon departure city and include Orange county, LA and Long Beach

Thanks for posting I checked there web site yesterday and didn't see it. Can't wait.

I was just getting ready to post this also :rotfl2: I have been playing with dates. It appears that it is also working for cities not listed. I put in Eugene, Oregon and it appears to work. Now....what dates to go...any suggestions :confused3 I am excited....Dl here we come ( as soon as I figure out when)

FYI: the disney site does not list the special. However, when you get a price for a vacation, it will say "kids fly free" next to the Alaska flights that qualify. So, you dont have to book thru Alaska air, you can book thru Disney and get their perks as well.

Be careful on the Alaska Air web site, it doesn't show which flights are available for KFF. It will give you a price, but you can't tell. You really need to call the 800 number and talk to a real person..........There are limited seats on limited flights that are available for KFF. Good luck

Oh man!! Now I want to go to Disneyland!!! I think I will call AA and see what they have to say. I wonder if you can also use your airmiles :confused3

Southern California Disney packages from $697

For those of you in the western U.S., here's a family favorite from Alaska Airlines: a "Kids Fly Free to Disneyland" promotion. Available throughout its extensive network (and that of partner Horizon Air) along the West Coast, the deal offers free roundtrip air fare to southern California for each child age 2-11 that accompanies a paying adult - for flights into Los Angeles- and San Diego-area airports. It's good for travel from January 3 through June 28, as long as you book no later than March 20. Package prices start at $697 and cover one adult and one child's roundtrip air fare, four nights in an Anaheim hotel, airport transfers, and five-day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper bonus tickets for admission to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure Park. Trips can be extended or shortened to fit your schedule.

The dollars: from $697.

I just booked our first trip to DL through AA for March. We are a family of four 2 adults 2 kids March 6th - 10th. We got airfare- kids fly free tickets, 4 nights at HOJO and a five day park hopper Bonus(everyone plays at the kids price). We got all this for $1765.20. Not too bad. I compared to AAA website and Costco.com website and this was a much better bargin. AAA wanted $2033.82 for nearly the same vacation- same hotel, tickets and airfare but they are including airport transportation and resort transportation. I will buy that myself $80 roundtrip for airport and $12 for resort fyi I could have included this on the AA package but I choose not to also could have included meal plans and tickets for other attactions. Costco didn't have Hojo available but nearly the same package but at the Carousel Inn would have been $2006.00. Costco's quote also included the ground transportation a free character breakfast and a $20 gift card. I was surprised that AA was able to give a better deal than AAA or Costco?

We have been to Disneyworld the last three years and we are looking forward to our first Disneyland trip.

We are going April 25-May 1 (7 days/ 6 nights). I was able to use the KFF, for our round trip Seattle to Long Beach. We are staying at the candy cane, and have 5 day hoppers. It was $2032. Not bad for a week! The parkhoppers are about $ 635 of that cost. The hotel would be about $750 with tax if I booked it on its own. So that means we paid about $650 for airfare for the 4 of us.

I booked mine thru Disney travel. They dont have kids fly free advertised, but when you go to choose an airline it will have little "kids fly free" next to the flights that are part of the special.

Was it more expensive? I checked at Alaska.com and the DL site and the DL site was about 100.00 - 200.00 more. Going April 24-28 (4 nights/5days) from Eugene to Lax staying at the HOJO with tickets to the park was $1,713.00 for two adults and 2 kids. I didn't think that was bad. Now I just can't wait to go! :cheer2:

For some reason Alaska Air always is a bit cheaper when I price trips, even from sites like expedia.........Sounds like fun......We stayed at HOJO and enjoyed it....

Alaska air does not offer the candy cane inn as a hotel option, so I'm not sure if it was more or not. I wanted that hotel, and wasnt really willing to give that up, even for $100-200 in savings.
