I heard a radio interview with him last month live from the log cabin, and he was describing his ranch. I wonder why he is selling. It is incredible. A bit too fancy on the inside for me, but I could make do...

Franklin is located in Williamson county and there are a lot of stars who live here. Many of them are located southwest of Franklin in an area known as Lieper's Fork but Alan Jackson's home is in the northwestern part of the county. We are only located about three-four miles from his place but our homes couldn't begin to compare. It really is a beautiful home on a big piece of property. Everyone is wondering why they are selling.

I wasn't planning on going to the fireworks in town, but now I might with the news that he pre-recorded a song.

The son of a friend ran into Alan the other day as he left a local restaurant with his mom. Alan knows his mom and dad, so they spent a few minutes talking about them. I can imagine he likes coming home and reconnecting with friends and family. I think I'd be totally tongue-tied if I happened to run into him while in town!
