We are both Alamo Quick Silver Member and National Emerald Club Members. Right now we can get an intermediate through Alamo for about $30 less then we can from National.

Please share your experience with waiting at the Alamo Quick Silver line. Trying to decide if it will be worth it to pay $30 more through National to not wait on line. Hoping the Alamo Quick Silver line's are not long. Would rather spend the $30 in WDW then on a rental. :earboy2:

TIA

Bumping up to the top....

Hoping someone has some info on the length of the lines for Alamo Quick Silver.

This would be our first time using Quick Silver. We've rented from Alamo in the past waiting in the regular lines and they were very long.

TIA

Uesd Quicksilver Feb 2004 and there was no one in line--the regular line was about 1 -2 hrs long!

Having said that, I believe there no longer is a Quicksilver line. My brother went June 2004 and he said they went straight to the garage to pick up his car.

So I would call Alamo in Orlando and find out for sure. Either way, it sure beats waiting in that regular line

Does Alamo let you use coupons with quicksilver and can this be added to an existing reservation. I currently have a good rate for an SUV using an upgrade coupon and do not want to lose this rate.

Thanks for the info. I hadn't heard about by-passing the line with Quick Silver. I will have to check it out. It would be great if this is the way they are doing it now. :cool1:

We were able to use a coupon with Quick Silver, but I don't know about adding it to an existing reservation. From what I have read in the past on these boards is that you will have to make a new reservation. You could always check the price and if it is lower book it and then cancel the original one. :earboy2:
