Alamo - should I prepay

My rate keeps going down, wondering if I should prepay now or wait a bit longer. I am leaving in 2 weeks and have a mini van reservation through Alamo for $179.02 total with all taxes. If I prepay it drops to $155.29 total for 9 days! I can't imagine it will go any/much lower?

That looks like a good price to me. After hours, and hours of searching for the best code to use we got a midsize for 7 days $126. (no prepay) because the discount we used (BJS) had a coupon we must go to the desk. I looked up a few times to see what the rate code was to make a new reservation under the prepay so we don't have to get in line, but it went to $180 for 7 days (midsize). We use alamo all the time and I check price codes from Walmart, bjs, sams,AAA, delta, AA, etc. Best price was BJS.

We prepaid with Alamo in August. We got a Minivan for 8 days for $298, it was the best price by far. Also if you have to cancel the penalties are not that bad.

That's a very good price for a minivan for 9 days! If it were me, I'd just prepay it now and forget about it. If it does go down further, I doubt it will be enough to make up for the stress of checking and rebooking! JMHO. YMMV.

Best wishes -

Thanks! I prepaid - one less thing to think about!

This is using the entertainment coupon for $25 off if anyone is checking rates.
