Alamo quickslver Program

Has anyone used Alamo quickslver program? Is there a separate line at the checkout counter for quickslver members and is it long? I made a reservation using my quickslver membership and I want the free extra driver (spouses are free with quickslver, so I don't think I can do online checkin because I get an error message that online checkin will override quickslver agreement, and so the extra driver wouldn't be free. Alamo told me that in order to add extra driver I would have to use the quickslver counter and I was wondering how smooth the process was. Previously I have always used Kiosk when I would use codes that would allow for extra driver, but now I got a really good rate using code IG for an SUV.

note: I can't spell out the correct name for quickslver because a transportation company with same name was banned from disboards awhile ago

I was told by Alamo that with quick silver you go directly to the lot. No actual experience yet but we leave in 2 days so I can let you know when we return.

okay thanks. I'm leaving in a week so I'll be anxious to hear. I wonder if it matters if you are adding additional driver, if you can still go to the lot.

So, I spoke to Alamo again and they said with quick silver you can go right to garage, because all of my information is already on file. Has anyone had experience with this recently?
They even said that since spouse is already included with quick silver agreement I wouldn't even need to go to counter to register them. Although this conflicts with the information that I was previoiusly told.

Yes, I use Alamo QS all the time. You go straight to the parking garage. In the past, you were required to stop at their rental booth [in the garage - which was never busy] before picking out your car. This June, we were told we didn't have to stop, went directly to pick out our car and then you stop at the exit rental booth before leaving the parking garage. With this procedure, it makes it as nice as their sister company's Emerald Aisle Membership. Your spouse is included, but I think you have to enter their information on your profile.
