I've read on this board that there is no alamo standard size aisle at MCO. Does that mean that the standard size cars are on the fullsize aisle or are there no standard size cars available at MCO? I wouldn't want to pay for fullsize but only get a standard and I'm not sure I would know which cars were in each category if they are all together.

Also, can I check in at the kiosk if I am using a coupon (entertainment book double upgrade paper coupon)?

Thanks.

Since you know that if you pay for a standard-size car at MCO you will get a full-size car, why would you even consider paying more to rent a full-sized car? Rent the standard, choose from the full-size aisle and don’t worry about it.

Paper coupon will probably need to see an agent.

There is not a standard row at MCO, you select from the full size row.
Paper Coupons need to go to the counter.

They can also use the kiosk. The paper Entertainment.com coupons have a contract ID and coupon code on them. Only limitation on a coupon is that you can't checkin online. Still should use SaveTime.

Thanks. I did pay for a standard. I was just trying to figure out if there were standard size cars and full size cars mixed in on the full size row or if they just don't stock any standard size at MCO. Just curious.

Thanks for the info on the coupon.

They stock "standard size" cars and they are on either the mid size or full size row.

We need to see the paper coupon and take possession of it, hence the reason to go to the counter, it cannot be done at the exit booth.

Hi gmeh1. My personal experience with coupons is that in all my National and Alamo rentals (a lot of them), I have have never gone to he counter, ever. I have had coupons, Entertainment sometimes, the exit booth has never wanted them, never disallowed them.

Dan, I have no doubt what you are saying is fact, however, that is not the way I was trained. Electronic coupons, not a problem, electronic codes, not a problem, but, paper, I was taught needs to go to the counter.
I have yet to see a paper coupon, but, then again, most of the renters I see either have gone to the counter, used the kiosk or online and had an electronic coupon.

While that may be the policy, it isn't the practice. I have on many occasions used paper coupons out of the Entertainment book, used the contract ID and coupon code when I booked and did not use the counter and was never asked to present the paper coupon. Having the contract ID and coupon code apparently seemed to be enough.
