Thanks for the Alamo tips. I booked a Midsize SUV for our Oct 13-22 trip, and using these rates, came up with a grand total of $246.03. My question is, do I need the "coupon"? I entered a coupon code, and I'm wondering if I need to present a coupon at the counter when we arrive. Also, do you think I have a good rate, or should I keep looking? TIA!!!

Yes, you will need the coupon and yes, I would keep checking. Also, it is "up to 25% off", not 25% off. Perhaps you missed the text on the coupon which says : "Print this coupon & present it at the rental counter upon arrival." Lots of people miss that.
