I cant believe I dont know the answer to this question! I have never rented anything smaller than an intermediate, but this time I am considering a compact since there are only 2 of us. Is there an aisle to pick your own car? Thanks.

Yes, if you rent from Alamo at the airport, you go to the compact car aisle. If there is no compact cars at Alamo, you pick from the National compact row.

We recently rented from Alamo but picked up in Ft Lauderdale. We were directed to the aisle for the car size we rented and allowed to pick our own.

We arrived at 9:30pm and there were no more compact cars, so Alamo told us to go to their intermediate row and pick one out for the same rate as the compact.....

Even better, book an economy if it displays as an available choice and is cheaper than a compact. Last I knew, there aren't actually any economy cars at MCO, so you get a compact, and could save some $$. Worked for me in the past.

Actually I think the cars and the rows are all the same with the exception of Emerald Isle.
