Alamo Question for TONITE

We have reservation to p/u our car this evening at 11:00. I didn't consider the fact that our plane isn't scheduled to land until 10:55. We won't have any checked bags to collect but will Alamo "cancel" our reservation if we aren't there right at 11:00.

Just noticed the "check in" feature online with Alamo .. is that something I should do now and then avoid the kiosk all together and proceed straight to the lot??

No, they wlll not cancel your reservation. The lines are pretty much non existant at 11pm., so, you really don't have to check in online.

If you actually get to the rental counter/kiosk after the stroke of midnight, you might need a manager to process the rental if the counter agent is confused. Hopefully they have corrected this computer issue by now, but we had a delay at Alamo a few years back since the date had changed. Only a short delay, but a stressful few minutes after a delayed flight when the counter agent didn't know how to process the rental paperwork. Luckily there's no one at the airport counters that time of night.

Not sure when you last used Alamo, but, they(along with National) were bought out by Enterprise a few years ago. There are managers there 24/7/365, hopefully, the OP won't need one.

Silly me! I meant to say no one in lline at the airport counters that late at night. The staff is always there!

Divide and conquer works well too. I go to get the car while DH waits for the luggage. In April, he met me at the car rental counters. In July, I met him at baggage claim - no one was in line at the car rental counter!
