DH is in sunny
Orlando this weekend for the inline marathon whilst I sit here in the 40 degree rain.....ok, just had to set the backdrop! He tried QS for the first time and here is what he reports. He got his luggage and went to the QS booth, passing the regular Alamo line which he estimated to be about 30-40 people long at 12:15 PM on a Sat. An Alamo employee was standing outside of the booth and DH gave him his papers and asked if he needed to check in somewhere. The guy looked at his papers and said, "Nope, you can go pick out a midsize car." So he found the lane, picked out a G6 and drove to the last booth. Since it is really run by National, with Alamo being the sister company, it took a minute to locate DH's info through QS, but the booth attendant eventually did, took his paper and coupon, and DH headed to AKL. He was very excited to use QS and wondered why we hadn't signed up for it earlier. He said he was really glad there were no issuses and everything went well with him using a code and a coupon because he knew that regular line was at least an hour, if not more, long.
His buddy used ME on Fri night. He was not signed up for it, but he grabbed his luggage, found an ME bus waiting, showed the driver his AKL confirmation sheet, and teh driver said "Hop on." This morning there was a letter on their room door just asking for his flight info so they could get him on a bus Monday morning. I know they tell you not to do that, but it was one guy and it seemed to go just fine.
