Alamo/QS Extra Driver Charge

Hello all!! I wanted to know if a QS member was charged an extra driver fee for their spouse on a reservation. I did a "search" for this information on the disboards, but the consensus was that no-one was sure. So, I e-mailed Alamo about it and this was their response:

Thank you for your email.

As a *********** member your spouse, immediate family member, business
partner, employer, or fellow associate who drives the car for business
purposes is considered an authorized free driver.

When I had called with my reservation number, I was told there would be a fee. My QS number was attached to the reservation but I never asked if that was the case for a QS member.
