Going to Disney December 16th for a week. I have made reservations with both companies. National is $7 more but I have read some comments about Alamo having very long lines. Any opinions? Should I use National or Alamo? I got good rates for "Premium" vehicles and used coupons also.

Thanks for the help.

Same company, same counter (but different stations), probably same cars. Given that, yes, Alamo's lines are MUCH longer than the other on-site agencies, I'd go with National. I'd also keep both reservations FOR NOW, checking periodically to see if rates go down substantially.

I'd go with National too just because of the lines. They have beeen insane everytime that we have been there.

My friend went in May and used Alamo because they were a few bucks cheaper. Never again, he said. He waited in line for almost an hour. Not worth the $8 savings he said.

We originally booke Alamo but after reading about the lines switched to National. The line for Alamo looked to be well over an hour while I just walked up to the National counter.

Also, I would recommend going to the rental counter first then getting luggage. We did this on our last trip... DW waited with DS at baggage while I went with DD to the rental counter. We were both finished at about the same time. When we went to get the car there were now about 4 or 5 people waiting at the National counter.
