Alamo--New charges

I checked Alamo rates to see if they changed. They are still the same except there is a $12.50 facility charge that was not there before. Anyone know what this is for?

That is a fee that MCO is putting on rentals starting in October. $2.50 per day max $12.50 per rental. Not just Alamo, all onsite rental agencies.

That stinks, but at least it is not too much $$$$$. I guess they can add that to previous reservations that do not indicate the fee on the confirmation.

we just picked up rental with National in Chicago. they charge a Customer Facility fee of 3.75 a day ....no cap...26.25 for a weekly rental and they are not even in a common facility at mdw ( midway ), you shuttle off site....heck with all the taxes and fees and taxes on the fee to tax, it added almost 60$ to the rental....
