alamo/national rental and credit card

I don't have a credit card. I have a reservation with Alamo. In the past, I've gone to the desk and showed my debit visa and didn't have problem. I'm trying to avoid the desk just because of the time of day we are arriving. Can the rental car be rented at the kiosk with the passenger credit card or does it have to be the driver's credit card.

My sister is the one paying for the rental but I'll be the one driving it as she's 22 and doesn't feel comfortable driving in another country.
