Hello Everybody,

To those of you with lot of experience, could you please give me some advice. We're planning on using Magical Express and then renting a car/van when we're at WDW (planning to go food shopping as well as drive to the parks except for MK). The reason why we're using ME (instead of renting from MCO) is that often times even a minivan isn't big enough for all of the passengers and all of our luggage (3-4 adults and 2 kids) - it's a very tight fit. Soooooo, upon using ME, and checking into POFQ, we were thinking of renting a minivan to visit a pick up supplies at a local market and eat dinner.

My question, should we rent from the Dolphin or the CCC. Also is there a difference between Alamo and National (as far as having your car ready, good service etc.).

One last question... Our boosters (and luggage) will be checked, should we pick up our luggage ourselves (so we have our kids' boosters) or should we let ME handle it.

THANK YOU !!!

I'm renting for the first time in May. I did price both National and Alamo. Alamo was a lot cheaper for the same vehicle. I'm getting mine from the CCC. I think it's just going to be easier for us since we are picking it up and then checking out and heading to Tampa. They have a shuttle they will send for you when you need to get there.
As for the rest....I have no experience.

The only difference between Alamo and National is Alamo is geared toward the leisure traveller vs. National towards the business traveller. I'd pick whomever gets you the best rate for your needs.

I usually rent from the Dolphin since it's within walking/boat distance from either MGM or Epcot and allows me more leeway time-wise. If you rent from CCC, you have to call for a shuttle to come pick you up at your resort.

As far as the booster goes, maybe someone else can answer that...

HTH!!! :teeth:
