Alamo - Midsize Pontiac G5 or G6?

Alamo's website shows the midsize car as Pontiac G6 or similar. Last year we booked midsize and were given a G5 which seemed really small. Does anyone know what the difference is between the Pontiac G5 and G6? Is the G5 also considered midsize? Thanks.

If a G5 is a midsize then I am a large person (I'm 5'7" and 145lbs.).

There is no way I would ever consider the G5 a midsize vehicle. It's considerably smaller than a G6, the G6 is 10 inches longer than the G5.

Think Ford Focus versus Ford Fusion, or Chevy Cobalt vs. Chevy Malibu.

Thanks. The G5 seemed so small, that I called Alamo at the Dolphin to see if we were in fact given the correct midsize car. Their answer was yes. Today just for the heck of it I called the Alamo main phone number and asked what size they considered the G5. The lady I spoke with said the G5 is considered a compact. So, it looks liked I paid for a midsize but got a compact. I will definitely be alert to that next month when we pick up our midsize from the Dolphin site.

The receipt you get when you return the car has the car class on it so you can confirm whether they classified the car as a compact. If they did, call Customer Service and request a refund for the difference.
