Alamo Kiosk

Hi all,
Is there anything I need to do other than book my car online to use the kiosk in the garage to get my car, or am I supposed to pay in advance to do that? I just don't want to wait on line at the desk in the terminal.

You do NOT need to pay in advance to use the kiosk. If you are having an additional driver you can save a few minutes at the kiosk if you enter the second driver's info online ahead of time. I am a Quick------ member but never use it at MCO because the kiosk is so fast.

The kiosks are inside the airport terminal, next to the Alamo desk.

Definitely saves time waiting in line if you are use the kiosk. If you enter your licence etc info before you go it is really easy to use the kiosk.
Then go out and pick up your car. Easy!!

How long does it usually take to rent with the kiosk. Can you use the kiosk with a coupon?

Yes, you can use coupon, and only takes a few minutes, literally.

The first time I used the kiosk it probably took me 5 minutes. Now that I've done it a few times it probably takes 90 seconds. Just have your confirmation #, license and Credit card ready to go. I'm still amazed by the long lines at the Alamo counter with 5+ open Kiosks. After you have your print-out head to the garage and pick out a car from your respective class. If you have a coupon (with all of the coupons floating around you'd be crazy not to) you will need to show it to the booth attendant along with your kiosk printout, the hang tag from the car and correct me if I'm wrong, but your CC and license one more time. It is quick and painless. I've really become an Alamo fan. That being said I would still choose National AE first if it were cheaper but it hasn't been for my last 8 or so trips to WDW.

Thanks to everyone for your responses. The last time we rented (years ago), I recall going directly to the garage and doing something there. However, my memory is not so great lately. I will look for the kiosks in the terminal!

Anyone know if you still get the car seats out in the garage as opposed to behind the counter? I don't want to wait around trying to ask after using the Kiosk.

It has been several years since we used Alamo. Do you select your car with Alamo or does the Kiosk tell you which one to pick up?

I'm a *********** member and haven't used the kiosk yet to check in ! It sounds like it works great. Are they in the same area as the counter ?
