Alamo Insiders-trying to add a driver but I get charged

I have a reservation with Alamo, I booked through the link for Insiders. I went into my reservation today to use the SaveTime. When I add my son, who resides with me (but has a different last name) I am charged 9.99 per day. My son is 27, so it is not because of his age.
In reading the material from Alamo since I am an Insider and I booked using my Insider number, adding a relative should not cost me.
Any tips? I am trying to get this done without having to go to the counter when we arrive next Saturday.

You can the other person for free simply by asking the attendant at the booth when you are exiting the garage. Just hand that persons drivers license to them.

I have not seen anything in the "insiders" terms and conditions about the additional driver fee being waived. Am I missing something?
All the reservations I have made with Alamo using various discount codes will usually state that the addition driver fee is waived on the confirmation. I just made 3 reservations using the Alamo insider codes and none of them state that.

If you go to the help section of the Alamo website and go to the FAQs, there is this information under the additional driver fee:

Fees are waived for additional drivers who are renting under corporate contracts or who are members of Alamo Insiders.

Alamo Insiders Members in the United States are allowed to have the following additional drivers without a fee:

The spouse of an Alamo Insiders Member, common law spouse, or domestic partner who has the same address on the driver's license as the Alamo Insiders Member and who meet normal renter requirements.

Immediate family member, Mother/Father, Son/Daughter, or Brother/Sister who has the same address on the driver's license as the Alamo Insiders Member and who meet normal renter requirements

Thanks for the info, I looked all over and couldn't find anything about.
Never thought to look under the help section, you would think they might have it listed in the terms and condition.
