Just picked up our car at MCO. We got out full size through Priceline for $166 which was the lowest I could get anywhere lately. Anyway, no wait at the counter. Very slight pressure to get the insurance, but he took the "no" and didn't need to see proof of insurance.

Trekked out to the full size aisle to get a car (it's way in the back of the garage) and there were no full size cars. I found an attendant and he told me to take a MINIVAN!! So we picked a gold Buick Terraza with leather interior. It has 2000 miles on it. Much to our surprise it also had a dvd player in it. It rides very nice and is very roomy, however, it does not have as much storage slpace in the back as our Sienna does, but we just folded down one of the seats in the 3rd row and we were all set.

Anyway, so far so good with Alamo. Just wanted to share our experience before I forgot.

Thanks that's good to know. I'm going to use Alamo for a minivan rental (they have Siennas, that's what I want) next year.

Maciec-

When you booked thru Priceline, were you given a choice of rental locations? I would like to rent from one of the onsite locations.

Thanks in advance!

Make sure you don't get charge more when you return it. It happened to me a few weeks ago. Had to call Alamo to get credit back. I rented an economy they only had compact. Got charged $34 more. Check your receipt before leaving parking garage.

Had a good experience renting thru Alamo at WDW Car Care Center...minivan at good rate booked on Alamo site. Quick check in and check out. They picked me up at my resort (OKW)and then when we returned the car, they took my friends and me to EPCOT (which is where we had asked to be taken).

Returned the car yesterday with no problems and no extra charge. One thing that I did find out is that they give you a 60 minute grace period for returning the car. We were supposed to return the van at 1pm, but got there at 1:45 and there was no extra charge.

All in all I would say it was a great experience with Alamo and Priceline.

Yes, you can either choose from renting at the airport or from a Downtown Disney location, however, Pricelines map for seeing which Downtown Disney locations there are is wrong (it gives you something like Ft. Lauderdale) 2). I have read that if you call Priceline that they can give you the correct locations.

I might give it a try...never thought you could call them! :confused3
