Alamo - free car class upgrade discount/deal

Wondering if anyone has used Alamo's free car class upgrade discount/deal for MCO? If I want a Standard SUV, do I book an Mid-size (but actually get a standard when I arrive)? Thanks for any advice!

Read the fine print. Many of the free upgrade coupons are sibject to availability when yoy pick up. Always make sure the category you're guaranteed meets your needs

Most of the Alamo upgrade coupons I have seen only apply to booking a compact or mid size car. SUV's seem to be excluded, make sure you check the terms and conditions.

If the coupon does include SUV's; then you would book a mid size and you should get a standard size suv (based on availability). Alamo should show the upgraded vehicle in their system if the upgrade has been applied correctly.
