Alamo Elite Rental Cars

I've been pricing rental cars at LAX from Alamo and have noticed that some of their Elite cars such as a BMW SUV and Infiniti full size car are cheaper to rent than a Toyota Rav 4 or a Ford full size car. Does anyone know why? I feel like they might harass me for more insurance or something for these more expensive cars. Thanks!
