HI

We have just booked our car with alamo and read in the information about a direct road service which has a separate desk. Has anybody used this?

Alamo is located in the parking garage at the airport so not sure what direct road they are referring to.

Hi again....

Sorry i think my first post was really unclear!

From the info we got sent i think that it should be a separate window or desk that you can use to speed up the rental process? Dont know if they have this service at Orlando tho?

We havent used alamo since it has been onsite so we are looking forward to it being easier anyway

They're probably talking about Quicksilver. It's a program, like you said, to speed up the rental process.

If you go to Alamo, click on Business Travel, then Business Benefits program for US Residents, then click on Enroll, you can sign up for Quicksilver. (Just make up some company name.....it's no big deal)

At Orlando International, they don't have a Quicksilver Kiosk, but a seperate window for Quicksilver customers.

Sounds to me like that's what they were talking about.

Actually it's just a separate queue line. When we were waiting at midnight once, the regular queue was full and there was only one agent working. A Quicksilver person stood at the Quicksilver queue and was totally ignored. Eventually she just went over and interrupted when the agent was waiting on someone else.
