I can not get the codes to work for any gems. I get a SUV for over $219, for 7 days.

The minivan was over $300+

I tried to with downtown rental for 6 days that was $219 suv

I am at the point to try and find soemthing the first and last day only.
I want to shop the first day, and dinner with friends the next to last day...

I am a quicksiver member,
I have rented tehre before...
Our trip is Sunday Oct 21 MCO for 9:00 AM to Oct 27.6:30 PM.
I have been working on this over three hours a night for three weeks now!

Can anyone tell me what class of car the alamo ecoupon uses (AD3829MRB). I am going this weekend, and have tried the usual codes and coupons I use, and none of them are accepting the coupon. I tried using it for November, and still could not use any of the codes and coupons, including this one. Is there another code you need to use with that particular coupon? Right now I have a full-size SUV for $175 for five days. I went around Labor Day, and got the same vehicle for $98 for the same number of days. Is there a blackout during October and November? It is the most I have ever paid with Alamo. Thanks.

I agree this is crazy, I never paid this much before?

Just returned 9/30 having used the AMEX code (7013604) and ecoupon(ad3829mrb) for an intermediate car. My total cost was $101.79. This was the cheapest car rental I have had in a number of years.Everything went incredibly smooth, no glitches of any kind. I used the kiosk in the terminal which only took minutes and I would definately use this again. There were a lot of cars to choose from in the intermediate aisle....Malibus,Toyota Corollas, Jeep Liberty, G6's. I chose a Malibu and it suited our needs just fine. Hope everyone's experience is just as smooth.Looking forward to getting a similar price next April!!!

Darn you people throwing out different codes - went back again and requoted using the AMEX Code and the above mentioned coupon and saved another $8. Now at $86. (all iinclusive) 8 days in December for a compact.

By the way, when i tried to just modify the original reservation by switching codes, it came up with the same price. By starting a new reservation, I got a lower price.

I just did hot deals on hotwire and found great lowest rates for wheels/hertz.
I had a link though for a reduced price they sent me,

I did not like the rate on the first one Sunday; today they sent me a reduced price that was about $12 less a day.

I don't know. Another poster offered it and said they got a great rate with it. I've never actually seen the offer/details from Alamo or their website. It's allowing my Nov. 3 pickup date. Many expire Dec. 15. I'm hanging on to this one. Hopefully we can use it in May too!

I believe it is good on all classes, and you do not need to use any other code with it. I just booked a car for December using the e coupon and the Amex code and it took both of them. It also worked with the Wallmart code, but the Amex was better so I used that. I saved $45.

Just to let you know, the Walmart code 428448 automatically includes a free additional driver. I originally had the Amex offer too but it only saved another $5 so I'd rather have the free driver. For some families, this is a great perk. YMMV.

for those of you who have used the Amex code, did you use an American Express card when paying for the rental or can you use any card?? We'll be using the kiosk to check in and were wondering if the kiosk will pick up that we're not using an American Express card to pay. Anyone have experience with this??? TIA!!!
