I just repriced my Alamo rental for July - August for two week rental and it went down $75!!! Finally we are headed in the right direction. I started out with $692. then $640. now $565. yea finally!!!

I used walmart code 430710 and entertainment AD49.
that gave the low rate. I hope it keeps going down
I have tried to get my SIL's lower for June but it is just going up. So I think I just finally lucked out on July.

Thanks All for posting these codes. I got a great rate $204.46 for 8 days in July for an SUV! Budget wanted $317 and dollar was slightly more than that!

I am very happy especially since I had to reserve a golf cart and needed to pay extra for that!

I used the mastercard upgrade id/code found on mousesavers.com to rent a mid-size for 3 weeks June/July for only $526.25 from Alamo. I thought that was pretty good. It was better than my PSEA union affiliation discount by about $20.00.
I'm constantly checking though. I'd always had great prices from EZ car rental, they're actually $1 less for my dates. But you have to shuttle to them from MCO, and, I've always wound up with a PT Cruiser for a mid-size

Also.. I've decided (pretty much) on AllegiantAir which means no MCO, so I need a car rental place out of Sanford.

If anyone else can find better rates for 6/13/07 -7/03/07.. send the codes my way!!

Thanks to the OP for this thread! I also just got a full sized SUV for 8 days in July for $203.45, and that includes my DH as an additonal driver for free!
I am saving $60 over my previous ressie for a full sized sedan.

Needa when are you going? I think cause mine is 6/29 through 7/9 and it is about 10.00 cheaper picking up at PBI, dropping off at the same place. What is the Ent code from?

I'm pretty sure they were Costco codes. People have reported the Walmart code on mousesavers gives the same discount. Search Costco codes. I got the code from these boards. HTH.

I just checked with Alamo and got my rental from 7/22-8/5 down to $309. I was currently holding a reservation with National for $403. I would love to see National come down but if they don't I will have to go with Alamo. I do have one question as it has been years since I've used Alamo. I went into the mousesavers website-rental cars-alamo and then from there click on the mastercard user discount/coupon.

Costco's website now states "When picking up your rental car please be prepared to show your Costco membership card to the Alamo representative."

I have never been asked to show my card (yet), but I do bring it just in case.

The Walmart codes seem to give the same rates as Costco right now anyway.

I do have one question as it has been years since I've used Alamo. Is online checkin the same as or better than using a kiosk? I can assume the kiosk is at least better than having to go to the counter. Where is the kiosk located at MCO?

For our Spring Break trip we couldn't do online checkin because we were using a coupon. We did enter all our info online before we left and then used the kiosks at the left of the rental counter. Very easy, no problems and fast! I was a little nervous beforehand because I had read some negative posts about Alamo, but I would gladly rent from them again.

smooth experience @ Dolphin Alamo/National desk ; they close @ 4:00pm prompt.

easy to take a bus from any of the parks or the boat over from MGM/Epcot.

we got a mid size SUV upgrade when booking intermediate.
