Alamo Booking Categories/MCO

I booked a standard car through Alamo at MCO. I think I remember that there was no standard group actually at the airport do I received a free upgrade. Am I remembering this correctly? What categories are there at MCO?

When you are at the Alamo Desk they will decide which car you will get.

They will not pick your car for you at the Alamo desk. Alamo uses isles, after you checkin you walk out to the garage and pick your car from the isle.

MCO doesn't have a standard size isle. You will pick your car from the full size isle. Not necessarily a free upgrade, just the way it is. Sometimes the standard size car is cheaper than full, but must often they are the same price.

OP, there if you have a standard reserved, you will be able to select your vehicle from the inventory on the full size aisle. There will be an assortment of cars, some of which would be classed as "standard" with other companies. There will also be full size cars. You *might* even get lucky (though we haven't yet) and have an odd van or small SUV to choose from, but don't stake the farm on that bit of possible pixie dust.

I just rented from Alamo at Shades of Green. You can easily walk there from the Polynesian or Grand Floridian. It is literally across the road from the Poly - one a paved path with a designated crosswalk. It was an easy .7 mile walk from the Grand Floridian Villas.
There was no wait. I had my car within minutes.
Super convenient
I highly recommend.

Also, be sure to re-check rates within the 2 week window. My rates dropped from $66/per day to $33/day (one way rental - drop off at FLL Airport)
