Alamo and ***********........

Has any used Alamo and Quick Silver at MCO? I'm just curious what the procedure is. Can I just skip the terminal counter and go straight to the garage and pick up our vehicle? This is my 1st time using Alamo and their Quick Silver program.

Also if I've reserved a vehicle using my Quick Silver account do I still need to do the "Save Time" option in the confirmation?

We used Alamo on our last two trips through MCO and it couldn't have been easier. I don't think it's specifically for QS members but we used the self service kiosk and each time there were at least 10 people waiting in line at the counter (the most recent time we did have to wait for a kiosk to open up but it was still much quicker than the regular line).

We got the slip from the kiosk and then went out to the garage to pick our own car and were on our way in no time. Sometimes Alamo comes in a bit higher than some of the other companies but I really like how easy everything was!

Is there a scanner on the kiosk that scans the barcode on your reservation?

Yes, and it usually works. Sometimes though you have to manually enter your confirmation number.
