Aladdin show?

I'm at the stage where I'm trying to figure out what shows and parades we'll see on each day of our trip - we purchased our tickets today! We were lucky to still get 5 day hoppers at Flight Centre that were only $224, saved us a bunch!

The entertainment schedule isn't out yet for our trip dates, it's only up to the week before, but I've been using the weeks leading up to them as a guideline for WOC, Fantasmic! and other showtimes... but I can't see any Aladdin showtimes in July, only June. Is the show ending this month, or do they just not include the showtimes for this one show until later? It's showing all the other showtimes for WOC, parades etc. up to July 17, but nothing about Aladdin!

The "final final" version of the entertainment schedule is often not posted until a month out, so while it will probably be posted shortly, don't panic that it's not posted currently. Aladdin isn't scheduled to go away after June

Whew! Good! LOL It seems like a lot of the DCA stuff isn't up for July (besides WOC) but the DL stuff is.... well at least I know it's not retiring! I'd heard so many great things about it I wanted to make sure I'd see it!

Does anyone know, in peak season how often does Aladdin usually run on weekdays? Do you need to reserve beforehand or just show up?

Aladdin shows often at busy times (3 or 4 times a day?). You can just show up. Some people like to get there early to get certain seats, but we've often run in at the last minute and still found an acceptable spot. It's a great show no matter where you sit, IMO. Have fun!

Thanks for posting this! We're going in July too, and need to start planning our days as well! Trying to decide if we really want to see the Aladdin show. I think we saw it a few years ago but can't even remember, which is making me think it must not have been that good. DH thinks we did see it and I vaguely remember. BUT, we have preferred seating and thought it might be a good "down-time" during the day if we're not going to go back to our hotel at all. Thoughts?

I'm guessing you DID NOT see it. Difficult to imagine anyone seeing the DL Aladdin show and not remembering at least some of the Genie's lines, the elephant in the room, the flying carpet, or something.

You should see it on your next trip, you won't "forget" it.

If it was several years ago, maybe you saw the smaller scale Aladdin story-telling show that was (but no longer is) in Aladdin's Oasis over in Disneyland. The DCA show is a broadway-style production, and as stated by a previous poster is quite memorable.
