Hi All,

How early must we que for Aladdin? Also, Where is the best place to view the show?

When we arrive will it be obvious where to que for seating? (Balcony/Floor)

I think I'd like the first row of the balcony, so there is no one blocking the little ones, but are there two balconies?

Thank for any information!

We were there 12/30 and got on line about 20 minutes before the show and got seats in the mezzanine (lower balcony). My ds11 had no trouble seeing the show since the seats are elevated at a decent angle. There is an upper balcony as well as the mezzanine. You can probably ask the cm at the rope where is the best place for you to line up to try to be in the front of one of these levels. Enjoy. It's a wonderful show!

How early you have to que would depend on how crowded the park was on the day you attend. Last time we went about 30 mins before the show and at that point the CM was telling us which line to get into, we had no choice. We were two able bodied adults and were put in the line that eventually ended up int he first balcony (there are two) If you have strollers or a wheelchair they will likely put you on the main level. There are outside stairs to the balcony.
There is a wide isle cutting across the main level and at certain points in the show the CM's run through this isle. It was difficult to see this action from the balcony. So I would say getting front row of the back section on the main level would be ideal. However the views of Alladin and Jasmine on the flying carpet are excellent from the balcony. I would ask a CM at the Hyperion Theater when you arrive at the park a suggested time to arrive for best seating. There is usually someone there to answer questions. If you can't find a CM keep an eye out for the que starting and get in line!

Hope you enjoy the show

Becky

The best place is the back 1/2 on the floor, non balcony (maybe that is the mezzanine?)- first row in that section. There is a little wall (knee height) that divides the walk way from the seats. Sitting in that row (with the little wall right in front of you) you'll have a great view of the "animals" as the come in, and can see the flying carpet. The first time I saw it I was in the front section, about 1/2 way back from the stage. It was ok, but the flying carpet was directly above us and hard to see, and the animals came in behind us.

If you book thru AAA, WDT or Costco you'll get a voucher for priority seating- I recomend using it for that show!

We love sitting on the bottom level also. About half way back. It is very exciting when the animals come in. I don't think I have ever gotten their earlier than half hour before.

First time we saw it, we sat on the left aisle, about 3 rows back. The next time was just left of center, front row.

Both were fabulous! We felt like we were part of the show and could see everything on stage really well.

But the best part was the interaction the people in the parade had with my daughters! the first time, they were showing us the treasures they had. The 2nd time, the camel was trying to eat my daughters heads or kiss them or something. they loved it - it was so great!

sitting up so close made it feel like there wasn't anyone else there - they were putting the show on just for us!

While the balcony may be better for viewing the flying carpet, that is such a tiny part of the show - I don't think it would be worth it. We could see the carpet just by looking up and turning around a bit, which wasn't a problem since it was such a short time.

So it all depends on what you want as to where you sit. Do you want a fabulous view for a short time (the flying carpet) or do you want a fabulous view for the rest of it (the carpet's expressions!)?

I tried to talk my kids into sitting in the balcony, but they wouldn't hear of it. They wanted to be in front again.

We went to the 6pm show and the balconies weren't even open, so it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

I'm wondering if the late show is always like that...

So, front row of either main section sound like great seats....

We went to the 6pm show and the balconies weren't even open, so it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

On this note, which showtimes tend to be the least crowded? First show of day? Last? :upsidedow

We usually go to the first show of the day and have no problem as long as we arrive 20 minutes early. I agree the best seats are lower level behind that little wall. I cant remember the line that gets you to that section because we have always just been told to go there. My kids 6 and 3 were able to see everything perfectly! Have fun it's an amazing show.
