I've read some posts about the Aladdin show leaving and I just found out today that someone close to our famliy (maybe a part of) who works at DLR is trying out for the show later this week. If it's leaving why are they having auditions? Interesting. ;)

I read on the disneyjobs site that they are auditioning with show lengths thru October 10, so it doesn't look like it's going anywhere yet. Probably just a rumor it's leaving :confused3

I've been reading rumors for at least a year about it leaving, but like you said, since they are continuing to hold auditions and hire new cast, then I would assume they are just that, "rumors".

There have been rumors for about 3 years now that the show was leaving. I caught it back in 2006 based on those same rumors. I'm glad I did as it's one of my favorite shows.

While I don't think the show will stay there forever, I'm also not convinced that it's leaving anytime soon.

On the Disney auditions website it says the new hires will need to sign a contract starting this fall until fall of 2010. So it will be around until at least that time. There is talk that Aladdin will be replaced at that time. (fall 2010)

I will be very disappointed if Aladdin is leaving. We always make a point to see this every trip and hopefully will again this October.

Any idea's if it will be running in November ? :confused3
We missed it at last years visit and were hoping it might be there this time.

Toy Story is supposed to replace it when the retheming of the park is complate. Target date 2012

I hope he gets the job (he's in CELEBRATE! now). I've seen Aladdin about 10 times now and I love it. So glad to hear it's staying (at least for awhile) :goodvibes

I still haven't seen Aladdin. It is a priority for our family this time.

Haven't been in the Animation building, seen Crush or Nemo yet either. Almost like going to DL for the first time. :cool1:

Oh..forgot. We haven't seen the new attraction in DCA yet either..Toy Story?

My DBFF has seen it a few times and said this is a must for us (we missed it on our last trip). She said there's a trick to the seating that she hasn't figured out... she always ends up in the balcony to the left of the stage.

What's the deal... do they have separate entrances for the lower level, or is it based on where you are in the line? Being as this is on our "MUST SEE" list for this trip, we want to know how early we should be there, and if there is more than one line, which line we should get in.

TIA :goodvibes
