Are you serious? Your logic is pretty flawed. It’s just as likely that the students headed back to the college town to get away from parents who were telling them to wear masks and cramping their style. Do you think teens and young adults do exactly what their parents advise? If so, we would rarely see that age group drinking to excess, taking illegal drugs, getting pregnant unintentionally, etc.

And then there are the people in Rockland County NY who went to a party in NYC hosted by someone who knew they had the virus symptoms at the time of the party, and those attendees are refusing to work with contract tracers. County is resorting to subpoenas.
