My DH and I want to take a bus over to AKV just to check it out. Do we just go to the regular AK Lodge? Or is there a different stop for the villas? We'd like to grab lunch there ... is there a food court or counter service? Thanks.

There are DVC Villas in both buildings. The main building (Jambo House) has the only quick service dining (The Mara).

If you take a bus from a park, the bus sill stop at Kidani first. I would get off there, check it out making sure to check out the fire pit and pool area. Kidani offers only DVC villas. Then walk over to Jambo to check that out. Jambo offers DVC villas on the 5th and 6th floors and regular resort rooms on the lower floors. You will find a nice animal viewing area, nice pool area and quick service for eating.

Order of stops depends on where the bus is going to when it leaves AKL/AKV, not where it comes from.

If the bus is going to Downtown Disney: it will go to Jambo House first then to Kidani Village.
If the bus is going to a Theme Park: it will go to Kidani Village first then to Jambo House.
