We have decided to take a few days of spring break and go see the Flower and Garden Festival. I'm a teacher and when I found out I needed to use unused travel time FTP
southwest by June it gave me the perfect reason to plan a trip. Lucky for me my DH completely agrees that we must go to WDW in order to not let my $200 go to waste. ( I used SW points to pay for the rest of our flight and we have an AP so resort and food would be our only expenses.)

We would have loved to rent at BCV or BWV but of course they are booked. My choices are SSR, AKV, POFQ or AoA LM.

How are the busses from the villas vs busses at mods or values? We will have a 1-year old and a stroller so busses are going to be a chore.

We have stayed at all but 1 of the resorts you are looking at (SSR, AKV, and POFQ) - we have stayed at POP, but not at AOA. We have had very good bus service at AKV and SSR. At AKV, there is only 2 bus stops, their buses only service Jambo and Kidani. SSR doesn't share buses with any other resort, but there are multiple bus stops within the resort. We had no complaints with buses at AKV or SSR during our stays there. We loved staying at POFQ before buying DVC. POFQ shares a bus with POR, but POFQ is picked up first in the mornings and dropped off first on the way home. I would not want to ride a bus from POP, the waiting lines are huge at the resort, and when we have seen the waiting lines of people at the theme parks. Hopefully AOA will have better bus service.

I have stayed at both SSR and AKV . I own at akv and my wifes parents own at ssr. The buses and walks to the main lobby are about equal and so are the bus rides to the parks. In my opinion anyway.

SSR has the walk to downtown disney and akl has the animals. So if you pick one of those two it comes down to animals or down town disney.

I have stayed at POFQ (apr/may x2), SSR (jun) and Kidani (dec). We also had kids/strollers for all of those. I remember both SSR and AKV being about the same for getting on the busses and never saw anyone not able to get on. The main thing I remember from our POFQ trips is how glad I was that we were at the first bus stop in the morning so we could always get on the bus, which was not the case for everyone waiting for busses at PO...
I realize some of this was likely due to time of year, but I really like the DVCs...

If you stay at SSR, you can request the Grandstand section. Like POFQ, it is the first bus stop. We always had seats, even when heading to MK for MVMCP.
