I beleive this is the clip you see when you go to the disney.com and follow the links to DVC and to AKV. I know I have seen the video before. But it is still cool!!!

Sometime this spring, a DVC mailing will occur with a special dvd "A Village Comes to Life:Special Edition" of the behind the scenes look of the making of the AKV.

Can't wait to see it !!

No. The one included with the new DVC DVD is 16 min long. The scenes in the above "short take" are all from the DVC DVD video, though.

What color is your DVD? Blue or Red?

The "Red" pluto DVD, which I would guess is the most recent, has the 16 min "Village comes to life" AKV video under special features.

That's the video (though I don't know if it's the "special addition") I have now. It was on the DVD our guide sent us after we purchased (with copy of the dreams book and a "AKV dreams book update" type flyer.

I have the Village Comes to Live video on my PC here at work....I pop it on during the odd lunch break when I need a bit of "Disney decompressing". Kinda hard (not to mention against the DIS rules) to share it because it weighs in at over 700 megs.

Anyone have an idea?
