AKV Value Studio: Queen & pull-out question

Hi everyone!



While this is not our first time staying at AKL/AKV, it is our first time staying in a Value Studio. Most of what I've read says that there's a Queen bed and a pull-out sofa, but recently I've come across some articles that mention a few rooms have King beds and pull-out sofas. Can anyone confirm this?

DH and I are traveling with DS18 and DD2 (at the time of the trip.) DS will take the pull-out, but DD can't sleep in a Pack & Play. She's a former 1 lb 2 oz preemie, very small for her age, and is connected to a continous tube feed through her g-tube overnight. We have an inflatable bumper that runs the length of the bed that we'll bring, and she'll sleep with us in the bed so that her tube can reach and she can be monitored. We'll manage with the Queen, but if there was a King size bed available, it would make a huge difference in comfort for all!

No king beds in a studio.

king beds are in the 1BR villas.

as stated, there are no king beds in any DVC studio.

can someone tell me what the difference is in the Value Studio and the Deluxe Studio? Is it just location or is there a size difference?

The depth of the value villa is about three feet shorter. There is no sleeper chair in the one bedroom or larger value villa.

By the way, the sleeper sofa in the studio is a double sized bed. The sleeper sofa in the living room of the one or two bedroom is queen sized.

I'm currently staying in my fourth value studio. Now king size beds that I know of. The bed is 54 inches wide, is that queen size?

Thanks, everyone. The king would've been nice, but we couldn't swing a 1 BR this trip. I'm just happy we're able to go and celebrate DS (who has Autism) graduating from high school, and DD's 2nd bday! We'll be cozy in the Queen, but we'll make it work!

value studios are only at jambo house.

all other studios are now called "deluxe" studios.
