AKV Value Requests...?

After reading this thread, I called to reserve 2 bedroom value at AKV this morning anticipating having to convince the CM to put in the savannah request. Before I could even ask, CM volunteered that he had reserved the room AND put in a request for a savannah view.

So very excited for our first stay at AKV and first holiday time trip to WDW.

When I originally booked a 1 bedroom Value, they told me that they will put in a request for Savannah view if I'd like. Then we changed it to Standard view and she mentioned that they would have to remove the request for the Savannah view because there isn't any. I think it may depend on who you speak with. Sometimes when I don't get the answer that I think is correct, I call back and most of the time I get it then. In most cases when they are not sure, they usually go and ask someone.

I never had any problems with MS putting the request in. In fact they were the ones that told me that value had the chance for a savannah view. However, I don't think they have trained all the members at the lodge itself. They are the ones that told me that value had no savannah view at all and that to get a savannah view you had to upgrade to a savannah view.
