AKV Value really is a value!

I agree also!! Last Friday and Saturday we stayed in a Value studio before moving to our Savannah View studio for 3 more nights.

It's a really great value when you get Savannah view for Value points!! 3 times so far our Value room has faced the Savannah!!

The size is noticeable when you go from 1 to the other like we did, but there were only 2 of us and we would have stayed in the Value all 5 days if it had been available.

I like AKV Jambo for split stays because all the villas are on the same floor in the same building

I don't know about kristenrice, but I've had savannah view value studios twice. Once my view wasn't quite as good as what she's showing, but the other time, it may have been exactly the same area or right next to what she's showing. I've never requested a view. I've had pool view twice and savannah view at least twice, maybe 3 times.

I first requested "not a parking lot view", but changed it to a savanna view request about 2 months before we arrived.

We had a value studio for our arrival night and then moved to a value 1 BR for the next 4 nights. This photo was taken from our value 1BR, but the studio was two doors down so it was basically the same.

We probably will not be travelling to our home resort until at least 2013. By then, my kids will have had at least 4 trips with a savanna view room. I plan on booking the value category and requesting a savanna view, but I would be fine with a pool view. I would politely ask if anything else were available for any part of my stay if I was assigned one of the TWO parking lot rooms.

We only have 100 points to work with so those value rooms (especially when we get lucky and get a savanna view) are really a great deal. They allow us to actually stay in a 1BR instead of a studio.

I believe all VR views are pool or savanna, but I could be wrong. Our 1BR in October was of the pool at Jambo and it was actually very nice. The daytime got a little noisy, but not too bad at all.

The size difference for us was very noticeable in the bedroom area. You had to be on the bed to open/close the door... or be extremely skinny! Other than that we had zero issue with the size. For the 30+ point difference between the VR and SR I'll think skinny and suck in the gut twice a day!

There are 2 parking lot view 2 bedrooms, rooms 5135 and 5133 plus 5131 and 5129. They are located across the hall from the savanna rooms on the end.

The standard view is half of the reason that we bought at BWV.

I have been fortunate enough to get standard view both times I've gone to BWV at the seven month mark. It to me is the best value I've seen.

Just curious, is that 5026? Because it looks like the view I had from there a couple months ago-

However, it may not have had a great view, but it was a lot quieter than the pool view I had last year (#5020). That had a good view of the pool, but with the sliding door right next to the bed, it got kind of noisy some evenings-

Sorry, I honestly don't remember the room number...looks like you could see the ground tho! Looks like a lounge chair or something down there? That is more than we could see!! I know it was not far from the stairs - just to the left by a few rooms. We used the stairs to go up & down to the bus stop! MUCH faster than going back up to use the elevators.

Yes, the bed in the master bedroom is a king size. It takes up about 50% of the room.
