We're staying in a 2 bedroom standard view at Kidani in July. One of the children in our party has some mobility limitations, though he will probably be in a stroller most of the time. Are there any special room requests that you all would recommend to make things easier or more magical? We have been to WDW many times, but this is the first trip for our friends.

We have mobility limitations and just checked into Kidani last night, we got 7610 which is very close to the lobby and the elevators. I explained about the limitations when we got in and told the CM that we don't mind waiting for a room. Ours is Savannah view but the ones across would be standard, I'm assuming and would work well for you.

Add "close to lobby due to medical reasons" to your reservation now. Rooms are assigned starting several days prior to check in, waiting until check in severely limits your chances of success.

I am staying at Kidani for the first time this month, so I think this is right, but someone feel free to correct me.

If you are at Kidani and using a car, you can park the car under your villa on the 1st floor, so you can avoid the long walks. However, if you don't have a car, or you are relying on Disney Bus Transportation, then being close to the lobby would be desirable for you.

Some parking is under the rooms but sometimes there are no spots available. There is additional parking outside next to the building.
