We have a 2 bedroom lockoff, savanna view reserved in September at Jambo House. Can anyone tell me where these rooms are located? Are any of the 2 bedroom lockoffs on the concierge floor, and if so do we have access to the lounge? Any specific sections? Thanks for any input!

The 2 bedroom lock-offs are spread throughout the resort. Only DVC Concierge rooms are on the 6th floor and only Concierge Guests are admitted to the lounge.

Savanna View rooms in Jambo House are on the 5th floor. The 6th floor rooms are a separate booking category (Concierge).

There is a great map of the 5th floor of Jambo House here. Your room will be somewhere along the Uzima or Kudu trails, or in that strip of rooms that connects the Kudu Trail to the Ostrich Trail. The rooms on the Giraffe and Ostrich trails are Value rooms. The rooms that face the pool are Standard View.

AKL Jambo has four different booking categories for DVC rooms: value, standard view, savanna view, and concierge (for which there are only 5 2BR lock-offs). If you are booked in savanna view you will have no access to anything that is part of concierge level and you cannot pay extra in cash to get it.

80% of all DVC rooms at Jambo are savanna view rooms and vast majority of those are 2BR lock-offs. As a result your room could be virtually anywhere in the resort on the 5th floor.
