Have been to WDW in past, but interested in a future stay in 1 bdr villas. How easy (or hard) is it to get a 1 bdr. villa in AK? How far in advance should I make ressie? I know they will/are building a new DVC and will have additional units in the future, but I'm looking at the ones already done.(1 bath units)

Are you looking to book thru CRO or are you a DVC member?

I think in general it's pretty easy to get a villa thru CRO (they have their own/seperate inventory of rooms) If you're a DVC member or looking to rent from a DVC member it could be difficult and you may need to arrange that 11 months in advance. Good news is that 1 BR's are usually the easiest villas to get.

It won't be available to you as a non-member one year in advance. Maybe only six months in advance. But check at 11 months out since that is when DVC members can first start booking. At the least it might not be available until 60 days out when unsold DVC villas get turned over to CRO to sell.
