AKV reservations...what did you get?????

I got thru right at 5:58 (PST) using the toll number.
My CM told me I was her first ever (she's new) call.
She was great! I have a SV studio for 1 night on Sept 25. We are staying at BCV the rest of the time, but I just had to try one night!

I had planned to have to be on hold for longer than this. Now I can read the disboards since I have extra time before work!

Question - has anyone else noticed lately when you call MS to make a ressie or when you try to get an ADR, they now have all of these disclaimers. I noticed when I made ADR's the other day, for each restaurant they always had 2 or 3 things that had to read off to me about the restaurant (like dim lighting, etc.). And with AKV she had to read off to me about how there would be some construction noise possible. I've never noticed these things before. I just thought it interesting.

Yup, but from what our rep said it's all '08 inventory. The 2br and studios show up but no rates attached to them....so you can't bok them either.

America... the land of the lawsuit. Disclaimers are put in to protect Disney from these IDIOT suits. (Don't believe me, people have sued because it rained on thier vacation and Disney did nothing about it. Mickey Mouse is NOT seated at the Right Hand....)

Ah. I just got off the phone. The CM said her manager called back and they tool my information as to what my request is for room, dates, and view but they will have to call me back with a confirmation number when they can put it in the system.

How can they open it for reservations today and NOT have 2008 information in the system yet to be able to book?

Oh well, at least it's somewhat reassuring that I actually got through to a live person.

Finally got a CM at 927, at 928 she put me on hold and came back at 932. I got my sav studio for Nov 10-15! This is our post-cruise, pre-last show stay and DDs know NOTHING about any of it! Now to figure out how to tell them...

I sure hope this doesn't get screwed up and I don't get my room after getting through so early on the first day of reservations...

I'm just irritated that MS could be SO unprepared. Did they not think we'd be calling in for 2008 dates? Really? Could they be that dense?

Got my ressie 1BR Savannah View for mid-August '07.

Was on hold for over 25 minutes. Went through the 407 number, never could get through on the 800#

Whooooooo!!! Finally, got through to a rep and she knew exactly what she was doing (don't know what was up with the first rep). Looks like I'll be going on the 2007 Member Cruise and staying at Animal Kingdom that week also... yippee!!! Got my studio sav view in October!!! Good luck to everyone else.

We just got ou ressie and confirmation #. Jan 5th - Jan 11th, 1 BR savannah.

Apparently, it was an IT glitch......someone's going to get chewed out over this one. This should have been tested.
