AKV - New Construction Warning from MS

I talked to MS today regarding availability in early March 2008. MS advised me they had just received an update regarding construction at AKL/V. Construction (which was previously only happening during daytime) has been extended to include evening hours, as well as daytime.

They warned me to expect construction noise during both the evening and daytime hours.

Got the same info when I made a reservation today for SV studio for March 20. She stated that there would be construction noise night and day. Guess they are really moving to get things done ahead of schedule. With SSR close to sell out guess they need to keep moving on AKL to have something to sell there as well.

wow, I hadn"t thought about that. our trip there last May we didn't hear any construction, though they did warn us about it. Now we want to go again, but I'm wondering how late in the evening the noise would be. Would hate for it to disturb our sleep!

Wow.....I guess AKL is off the table until construction stops...

If it's just "evening" hours I don't care as I am in the parks. I can't imagine it would be "night" hours though when people are trying to sleep!

I have reservations at AKV in March and April next year for 5 nights each. I haven't heard any new warning about noise from MS and don't plan to change my reservations.

Hmmm, we'll be there the first week of March. Hopefully, the noise will be minimal.
