AKV-Kidani Wait list

Does anyone have experience with wait listing a Kidani? I just started a wait list for a 2BR standard view for nov 9-17. I do have SSR already reserved for this time and was wondering if anyone thinks i have a good chance with AKV. Thanks!

I had to wait list for 3 of my 7 night in October at Kidani. About 6 weeks after I booked, it went through (June)! Hopefully it will happen for you!!!

That weekend is pretty booked up. It's Veteran's Day weekend, end of Jersey week, end of food & wine, 1/2 marathon.

I was just looking at the availability tool and there is only 1 night available for lockoff and 2 for dedicated for your dates. Did you waitlist both?

For your waitlist to come through, all the nights would have to become available at once. The odds of that are pretty slim considering you need 8 nights.

On the encouragement side, I wait listed almost the whole week before Easter (Tues-Sat) in a 1 BR standard and it came through about a month out. My expectations were super low and we were pleasantly surprised.

I agree about the lock-off. I had to change my reservation for my recent trip several times. The dedicated 2 bedrooms go quicker than the lock-offs.

The other problem is that you started your waitlist rather late. If others are waitlisting for the same dates and put their waitlist in months ago, they will/should fill before yours does.

If you don't mind a split stay, you could break your wait list up. Otherwise, I don't think you have much of a shot. But it could happen. Don't forget to check yourself several times a day. Sometimes rooms show up before the WL takes them.
