AKV Kidani Standard Room Request

I booked a 2 bedroom villa and wondering if there are any suggestions for room request? I know that since I booked standard the likely outcome is a parking lot view and I'm perfectly okay with that, I'm thrilled that I'm even staying at AKV!! I figure it can't hurt to in a request though - it would be awesome to get one of those converted from savannah to standard rooms - we may regret this later but I really don't mind the long walk. Is the correct request Pembe Savannah, far from lobby near Grand Villas for this? Is there another location that may be good for us to request as well?

Are you staying at Kidani or Jambo? That makes a difference.

We stayed at Kidani in a 1 bedroom and requested Pembe savannah near the pool. We had a great view. Right on the edge of the savannah with the pool to our left. We were super excited for a great view of the savannah but at a standard rate!

This was the view towards the left. You can see the edge of the savannah. The pool was on the other side of the fencing. We saw lots of animals during our trip.

We were in a 1 bedroom. Our Room number was 7939 (for some odd reason I always take a pic of the room number!). It was a bit of a walk from the lobby, especially with three kids, but the view was worth it. We were close to the elevator that went down to the pool and parking garage.
