AKV-Jambo question...

I have a 1 bdrm at Jambo booked on points for 6 nights at the end of May. I am traveling with my son (16), daughter (13), and daughter's friend (13). I know there are enough sleeping areas since there is a pullout chair, but wondering if it is still possible to ask for a cot or something else for my son? Since my daughter's friend is coming, she probably won't be comfortable with a teenage boy sleeping in the same area so I thought he could get a cot and sleep in the bedroom. I would sleep on the sofa sleeper and let the girls take the bedroom but I have back issues and can't make that work. Does anyone know if I have any options? Thanks in advance.

DVC will not provide cots or inflatables.

How about bringing an air mattress for him? Or there are offsite places that would probably rent a cot or rolling bed but I think the air mattress would be the best option.

There is a company owned by some DVC members called DIZZY DOLPHIN and they will deliver anything to your resort for you so you could get an air mattress delivered...or...you coul dhave one shipped to the resort to you from Amazon....just a few suggestions...

Easy to pack an air mattress too in regular luggage, we've done it several times and it folds up well....just make sure the accompanying air pump is fairly small when you buy one (they can come in different sizes)...

Okay, I guess I am a total idiot. I didn't realize Jambo 1 Bdrm. only has 1 bathroom! We are frugal with our points and generally stay in studio. The only time we stayed in 1 Bdrm. was at BLT so that is my only reference point. My fault for not researching. Thanks so much for the information. I will definitely wait list Kidani. We are only 40 days out so probably don't have a great shot but will cross my fingers.
