AKV Grand Villa Dec. Availability

Is there any chance whatsoever I might be able to snag a Grand Villa at AKV at the beginning of December...preferably 13th-20th or 14th-21st? I know what a busy time of year this is...just not sure how in-demand GVs are.

Pretty much every DVC room in AKV's is booked for the entire month of December. There are quite a few of us on a waiting list for specific room types and some for any room type. Unless Kidani opens before then, I don't really see any open up for this year. I would think Grand Villas are an 11 month only booking since there only 2 until Kidani opens.

Not only AKV, but most of the other DVC resorts are probably already booked as well.
