AKV concierge at 7 month window??

Has anyone been able to score concierge at the 7 month window?

DH and I are looking at going down between Halloween and Thanksgiving and were hoping to book a concierge room with our points. It's ok if we can't, we'll
still have fun, but I it would be awesome if we could!

I was 2 years ago, I ended up cancelling the reservation but it worked out. Realistically, I would keep your expectations in check as it will be very hard to do. Hopefully, you are travelling during a non-peak period.

I think it's about as non peak as i can get. It'll be after Halloween and before Thanksgiving. i can't imagine there's a whole lot of people there at that time?!?!??

Some people have reported they have been able to get concierge at 7 months but don't count on it , there are only 5 2 bedroom lock offs so the max amount of rooms is 5 studio and 5 1 bedrooms. AKV has many more members than it did a few months ago so as time goes on it may get harder and harder to book at anything but the 11 month window

Even though we own at AKV, we've gotten Concierge several times at the 7 month or after window for July. The first time we had a studio, but cancelled it, and 2 weeks ago we got a 1 bedroom and we are definitely keeping that!

It depends upon when you go, but some of us have had luck with it! Good luck, Tiger

We got a CL Studio for 2 nights this May by going on the WL in late Dec, so less than 5 months out. I think is was because it was just Fri and Sat night.

The WL came thru in mid-Jan. It looks like someone cancelled a 1 BR for those nigths and another member of DIS got her WL for the 1Br, thus freeing up the studio she had reserved. -- Suzanne

A friend got a 1 bedroom concierge at 7 months for late June last year and invited friends (including myself) for her birthday!

And guess what - I've got concierge booked again for the first weekend in Nov! This time I'm keeping the studio and gave up a 1 bedroom value.

Actually, I went on the waitlist for it right at 11 months and the waitlist came thru sometime this past week. Otherwise - all concierge was fully booked at 11 months for that time period.

We booked Thanksgiving AKL CL 1 bedroom for a week, all they had left was a 1 bedroom for that period.

anything is possible...i currently have a thanksgiving AKV CL studio booked for 5days and I am seriously debating wheather i should actually vacation on my vacation from work (im a teacher)...so its possible to get whatever you like...keep your fingers crossed...
