I updated the first post with the list.

right now I have one tree for Jambo, 1 for Kidani and 1 which is probably for kidani. We have some overlapping dates and I'd rather see people with a few less days and share it rather than take a chance of it getting lost moving it between Jambo and Kidani.

I see there is an opening for Dec 21-25 for Tree 2. Is there any way my Mom can have that one in her room? She is also staying at Jambo.

I will post here. I am donating two trees and I believe there is a third for Jambo. I will put a label on the box with the names and dates of the family using the tree. I also place a marker in the box so that the family can cross their name off so the CM knows who is the next family to receive tree. I will also place one in the box. Included will be an extention cord, tape (to retape the box), christmas ornaments (you can add if you wish). I will have two envelopes enclosed. 1 will be for donations (not required) if you want to help for shipping costs. The other envelope will have the return label. (The last family will affix that to the box and give the box to the front desk for delivery back to me).

I may include some small gifts for the families. Last year I made two Christmas CDs for each family to get in the spirit. I do know a couple of families have sent me ornaments from Disney as gifts and they were really cool. I am not expecting anything in return. This something I love to do and this I do from my heart as well as the other donators.

I have looked over the list and I do see that the trees will move from Kidani to Jambo. Those families (you will be notified) that are at kidani and use the tree last prior to trees going to Jambo will have to make sure that the trees are delivered to Jambo.

Ok, so here is one of the specific things I am not getting (and I feel stupid)...LOL...

Once we tape up the box with the tape...we can't put it in the box for the next family....

Are we not taping up the box until it gets shipped back? Do we just do the foldy over/under thingy for the next family? Do we bring our own packing tape?

I don't know why I'm having issues with this. I'm kind of embarassed.

I guess cause this is our first time doing the DVC tree exchange and I want to make sure we are a successful family (when it comes to handing off to next family) when it's our turn and we do everything we're supposed to.

I'm assuming the coordinator will let us know what day to pick up and what day to drop off? It's bell services, correct? Does time of day matter etc. or will those details be in the instructions etc.?

I know it sounds crazy. Just leave a little space open to squeeze the tape in.

Ah! Got it, I know the family before us checks out on the 8th, but we check in on the 7th...that's why I was asking...about whether we pick it up when we check in or the day after etc...

Hi everyone!

Thanks Harlemgirl for posting the details on what everyone needs to do. I kept everyone's details on my work computer (since I use it more than my home) but until the government opens, I can't get to it. So, if we're not open by mid-week, I'll recreate and send everyone the details as to when you get the tree, and who you need to leave it for. But the list will also be on the box.

This is my first time doing this so I appreciate Harlemgirl's advice and her donating two trees. If you have any questions, feel free to post.

I tried to keep all of the dates/availability straight but not sure I have.

We're not arriving until 12/31 and staying in Kidani Village to celebrate new years and my 50th b-day the next week. Would love to surprise the family if a tree was available for that late. What an awesome idea!

Also we had some cancellations after I sent the list around so Jambo tree is availabe 12/14-22. I'm not going to move it to Kidani unless someone is willing to bring it back and forth.
